Ahmedabad 50th Anniversary Celebration

Each trip to Naani Ghar has its own story.
The last one was about New year celebrations.
But this one was more….

About getting stranded @ airport

About old memories when Maa and Masi used to wear short skirts…

About peeking into your own childhood

About selfie crazy people

About delectable dishes that covers all cuisines from North, South, Chinese, Continental, Sindhi and Gujarati. And none of them repeats…

About some members who posed for clicks

About flaunting new dresses

About cricket – sledging, run outs, quarreling over rules and finding resolution by looking on Google!!!

About being clicked

About cousins meeting their cousin’s children

About couples still in love

About photobombers…

About generation gap

About bhabhis and great cooks

and about bhaiyas and bro code

About Brother-Sister, Father-Son, Mother-Daughter relations

About friends in family

About fun conversations
And of entire family coming together in one room because…

About late night talks and ghost stories

About morning walks

And hearing the song of birds (Play Full HD only)
About morning tea talks along with assortment of cookies

About morning sleep and silent prayers

About blacky

About people being missed

About serious discussions

About Family meals

And about the first 50th marriage Anniversary in the family

About the thickshake without which the visit is incomplete

About Bhadrakali visit without which Maa would disown me 🙂

About bidding goodbyes and teary eyed folks

Guess who will be the happiest?
The woman in the frame – ageless Naani

I don’t have a big family, but this post reminds me of all the times I’ve spent with other large families. The amazing thing about these families is that despite their already large size, they always have enough room to embrace more!
